Hello again

Hello again, been a while since I’ve posted anything. Did you miss me? Well I miss you too. I was sitting here thinking about Myk, he’s my oldest son. I haven’t told him lately how proud I was of him. Theres not a day that goes by and I dont think of him. I want to tell him just much I thank God for him, and though he has not made me a grandma yet, ( I’m still waiting for the news) , so I just wait patiently. But nevertheless, whatever makes him happy, makes me happy.

I know there are a lot of good sons in this world, I want him to know, I am so grateful of the man he has grown to be, there are a lot of things he could be doing, but he was always a dreamer. I told him at a very young age, live your dream son, as long as you can dream, explore and express your self. I remember at the age of 8, he read a career book of mine, and decided he wanted to be an airplane pilot, and by the time he was 12 he wanted to be a bounty hunter and at the tender age of 13 he wanted to go to the Armed forces. One day while at work, I got a call from a recruting officer inquiring about Myk, I told him Myk is just 13, and by the time he’s old enough he may not want to go to the services. So now they came out with this movie “Navy Seals, after watching the movie, he ask me to watch so I could now see what he wanted to do… needless to say, that was not going to work for me. So now comes the Sony play station, he absolutely loved the game and the graphics.. tjis is now what he wanted to do. So he decided to write Sony and tell them his dream and to my surprise, they responded and the rest is history in the making and living his dream…

Myk, you were always ambitious, and you always did te right things to make me proud. You are what any mother want in a son. any mothers dream….my dream, my world my reality…. I’m so poud of you son and I love you…

Often times there are things that will tear a family apart, but only love and respect will keep us together. No matter what we go through in our lives, we should be there to comfort each other, and just so all of you know, i AM THERE FOR YOU…I love and respect who you are, and know this is real… Let nothing come in between that, it is so easy for us to pass judgment and tell each other when we are wrong and for choices we made whether i’s good or bad right or wrong, but we all have made bad choices. And more important we all are hurting in one way or another, we all have been rejected and outcast, this we all can relate to. so why not try to understand each other and give the respect and above all, WE ARE NOT PERFECT. Noe do live in the perfect world in a perfect house and not the perfect family. Many times I have seen families fall apart but no one wants to take responsibility or time to find out whats wrong and can I help you, even if it’s an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on.. So in conclusion, RESPECT AND LOVE……Your Sister Doris

It’s a new day

Today is a new day, leaving me wondering what’s in store for me? I’m sitting here looking out of the window watching the snow covering the ground as a blanket, remembering how as a child, we could hardly wait for the snow, then you find yourself crying cause your hands and feet were so cold, but nevertheless, you still wanted to go play in the snow. As I think back, I remember we had a large Labrador named Rust because of his color. My oldest son Myk wanted to play in the snow, so I took him out, we had a sled and of course he wanted to ride. I decided it would be a good idea to tie a rope around the dogs neck with Myk holding on to other end and away he went, both Myk and dog seems to enjoy this, SORRY MYK , but how could I for this?? You and the dog were having a good time… well that enough pondering on the past for now and back to the future…..
